The functions in a Bridge-town:
1. City centre: worship, entertainment, public life, market; 2. City centre: management, administration; 3. The Town: living quarter; 4. The Town: warehouses, industry, trade; 5. The Bridge: the road; 6. The Bridge: the railway; 7. The River: the (fishing-) harbor.
Advantages of this system: it is important to choose the geographical position (of the Bridge-town) in such a way that existing bridges can be used so there is an immediate yield for the industrial development of the hinterland.
Size of the bridge: 150-200m, levels: 7, available surface in stretches of 100m: 50-70ha.
